I puntali per pipette Labcon MetalFree® sono progettati per applicazioni che richiedono livelli estremamente bassi di contaminazione metallica. Ogni lotto viene testato mediante ICP-MS per verificare che 43 metalli siano presenti a concentrazioni inferiori al limite di rilevazione di 1 parte per miliardo (1 ppb), un livello di purezza significativamente superiore rispetto ai comuni puntali certificati per metalli pesanti a 1 ppm.

Realizzati in polipropilene vergine puro al 100% di grado medicale USP Class VI, i puntali MetalFree® sono prodotti con resine selezionate e preventivamente controllate per ridurre il rischio di contaminanti ed estraibili. Sono inoltre certificati privi di ftalati, oleamide, DiHEMDA e sostanze SVHC.

Ogni lotto viene sottoposto a controlli specifici ed è certificato privo di contaminazioni rilevabili da RNasi/DNasi, endotossine/pirogeni e ATP. Le versioni sterili sono sottoposte a un processo di sterilizzazione validato con SAL 10⁻⁶, idoneo anche per applicazioni di ricerca, medicali e diagnostiche.

I puntali MetalFree® sono disponibili in diversi formati di confezionamento, tra cui rack autoclavabili e riutilizzabili, refill Eclipse™, sacchetti richiudibili e rack sterili, per adattarsi alle diverse esigenze operative del laboratorio.
