Suction unit with collection bottle by 2Lt

The suction device with collection bottle FTA-2i is designed for the aspiration or removal of alcohol, swabs, and liquids from the reaction vessels (e.g., during the purification of DNA/RNA, or other techniques riprecipitazione of macromolecules).

The device can be used for the routine washing of the cells from culture medium and resuspension in buffer. The principle of operation of the extractor is based on the creation of a vacuum in the collection bottle using the microcompressore integrated.
The tip gentle suction using the holding is connected to the collection bottle by means of a tube of polyethylene. The liquid is removed from the reaction vessel when the tip gentle suction using the holding is in contact with the solution. On the right side of the aspirator FTA-2i is a practical support system-accommodation of the tubes; it has two openings for tubes 1.5-2 ml (e.g., for hydrochloric acid solution and distillate) needed to wash and put the tip gentle suction using the holding, so that it can be reused.
FTA-2i is equipped with a level sensor which detects the excess liquid, thus preventing the overflow by turning off automatically the pump with the emission of an acoustic signal. The device is provided, generally, with a control knob of the vacuum regulator that allows you to select the speed of suction favorite.

In addition, it can be purchased as a manual system to use more conveniently the new accessories (see list below). The manual system autoclavable is equipped with a button that is pressure sensitive that can control the speed of suction.

Filtration: The filter microbiological hydrophobic 2200/02 eliminates the risk of contamination with bacteria, virus particles and infected, coming from the collection bottle.
